Thus far BlogTelling has focused more on the how of blogging but I also want to use this blog to look at blogging in general.

I just came across this tutorial for a crown of bacon “Pork Princess Tiara“ on the Craft blog – which is one of my favorites to follow – Craft has lots of great posts that are both funny and helpful. I don’t really want to dwell on if this is actually a good tutorial – would you wear a crown of bacon? But this did get me thinking about bacon bloggers. It was a posting about bacon night at the Harris Grill, a local restaurant here in Pittsburgh, which was mentioned in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette (back when blogs were still called web logs), that helped launch the popularity of my blog IheartPGH. It turns out that there are blogs about bacon. Here are 2 blogs that I found – please let me know of any others.

• IheartBacon.com – and of course they have already posted about the Bacon Tiara
• Theories of Bacon – doesn’t get updated often but they have some pretty meaty content.
