Another fascinating blog about food – Waffleizer is a blog about using your waffle iron to make all sorts of things from breakfast to dessert. They have done a really nice job with photos and descriptions too.

I found Busted Carbon blog from a post on Urban Velo – a great magazine/blog about cycling. Busted Carbon is a blog that is dedicated to broken carbon bicycle parts. Blogger Figbug has been posting photos of roken carbon for over a year now. Some are just submitted photos and others are submitted with stories and photos.
Blog Name: Busted Carbon
Post Worth a Look: Another Garage Incident – while no cyclists were injured in this one – it is still sad.
On Twitter: sadly no broken carbon on Twitter
Next up in our series on interesting blogs
is Awful Library Books which is a blog about books that should be removed from the library. I have to say this is a topic I had not thought much about – but it makes a lot of sense – when is it time for books to leave the library.
Awful Libary Books is written by two public librarians and is a really interesting conversation about what should and maybe should not be on library book shelves. I love the idea of using a blog to expand the discussion about library books across libraries.
Awful Library Books is also a nice look at some of the books and cover art from the past.

A Blog About What? – Last year I wrote a post that linked to some blogs about bacon and since then I have become more interested in blogs that tackle niche topics. One of the best things about blogging is that it is an easy way to organize and share information on specific topics. So I am creating a category on BlogTelling to profile some of these great blogs. So here is the first in what I hope will become a much longer series of posts about unique blogs.

City of Sad Toys is a blog that is for sharing pictures of lost toys. Al Hoff does a great job of curating these pictures and adding witty commentary to accomany the photos. I like that this has become a project that has spread beyond Pittsburgh and City of Sad Toys now has submissions from across the country.
Blog Name: City of Sad Toys
Post Worth a Look: Love: Kicked to the Curb – I like the questions that go along with this photo
